3. TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

3.1 After the replacement or repair work, the Installer will test/commission the System onsite to confirm that it is compliant with Australian Standards and the manufacturer specifications and to ensure the System is fully operational.

4. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE

4.1 On satisfactory completion of the work, if required by governing bodies or law, the Installer will provide a certificate of safety (or equivalent), which certifies that the additional works have been installed to the requirements of Australian Standards and relevant laws.

5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

5.1 On the day of testing the system, the Installer will instruct you on the basic operation of the system or leave manufacturer information for such.

6. COMPLIANCE WITH ELECTRICAL STANDARDS

6.1 You must ensure that the premises (including any outbuilding, such as a shed, carport, or garage) comply with electricity standards imposed by law prior to installation.

6.2 If the premises do not comply with electricity standards imposed by law, you must arrange (at your cost) for a qualified electrician to rectify the faults(s). Under certain circumstances, Pienergy may be able to assist in the quotation and completion of these works. The type of work that an electrician may need to carry out to ensure that the premises are compliant, may include, but are not limited to the following;

• Rectifying inadequate existing electrical supply;

• Installing a safety switch;

• Upgrading the switchboard;

• Upgrading of meter panel board;

• Additional works where there is insufficient room

in the meter box for a gross meter for measuring exported electricity; or

• Works to a meter box where a meter box is not compliant.

7. ACCESS

7.1 You must ensure that the Installer (together with any vehicle and equipment) has safe, convenient, and unhindered access to the meter box, switchboard, inverter location, and the roof where the System is mounted during any works visit.

7.2 If you think that access may be an issue, please inform Pienergy (or the Installer) when you are contacted to arrange the works visit.

8. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROOF AREA

8.1. The roof area must be safe and suitable for the Installer to work on. It is your responsibility to ensure the roof is safe and suitable for the work visit.

9. SPECIAL ACCESS EQUIPMENT

9.1. Special access equipment may be required to lift/ move solar panels to the desired location and/or for repair/ replacement work, and/or to conduct repair/replacement work. Factors may include: roof pitch is between 30 to 45 degrees; roof height and other safety concerns. This may include boom lifts, cherry pickers, or scaffolding. This will be an additional cost to you.

10. WORK ON STEEP ROOFS

10.1. Due to Safety considerations, work may not be possible on steep roofs (including where the roof pitch is over 30 degrees). Extra costs will apply on such roofs if it is safe to do so. This will be an additional cost to you.

11. INSTALLATION ON TILE, SLATE OR ASBESTOS ROOFS

11.1. Tiles can break due to a number of reasons. It is your responsibility to have available replacement tiles so installers can replace broken tiles should this occur. Failure to do so will result in broken tiles being relocated to nonvisible/weather-exposed locations such as under solar panels. We take a 'full care no responsibility' attitude in this respect.

11.2. Installation is not available to homes with slate or asbestos roofing.

12. DEDICATED CONTROLLED LOADS

12.1. The installation does not include work for dedicated controlled loads (includes dedicated slab heating, hot water, or climate saver tariffs) to be re-wired into a single phase and single element meter configuration prior to a solar meter being installed.

13. TRAVEL AND FREIGHT

13.1. Additional travel costs may apply for jobs located outside our standard service areas. This will be calculated on your location and will be an additional cost to you.

14. PROMOTIONS AND OFFERS

14.1. Solar promotions and offers are strictly limited to availability and may change after your purchase especially if purchased through a third-party affiliate or agent. This may occur after purchase if a selected system is not suitable or otherwise possible to install as desired.

14.2 All stock is subject to availability and can be replaced on a like-for-like basis (this can occur due to site specific requirements where a bigger or smaller wattage panel may give a better array configuration to give a better watt per square meter coverage as smaller wattage panels are dimensionally smaller than larger wattage panels and vice versa) We will endeavour to communicate this to you asap should this occur. Not all offers are available in all areas and/or additional costs may occur.

14.3 Inclusions and exclusions Refer to Section 1, and Section 2 above.

15. WARRANTIES

15.1. Pienergy does not imply or offer any warranty other than what the manufacturer or service provider offers.

15.2 In the event of a warranty claim Pienergy will facilitate the process on your behalf.

16. SERVICE CALLS

16.1. Service calls by electricians/installers that are not warranty related will be charged to you at prevailing rates.

17. STC's

17.1 STC prices are subject to change both up and down and this may affect the price of the system to you.

17.2  STC's are applied as an upfront discount to you unless stated otherwise.

17.3 If the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) determines for any reason you are not eligible or otherwise able to claim the STC rebate this amount will be payable by you to us immediately upon demand.

18. SYSTEM OWNERSHIP

18.1 All hardware installed or otherwise provided remains the property of Pienergy until full payment of monies has been received. We reserve the right to remove, decommission or otherwise disable any works that may have been provided to you if monies are not received on time as agreed. You grant access rights to any property to perform this task.

18.2  Additional costs will apply to you should this scenario eventuate both to exercise 18.1 above and to then reinstate or otherwise return to place or functionality of any such works or services. These additional costs will be determined exclusively and reasonably by Pienergy.
